Tess joined Radiation Oncology Associates in 2020. She received her BS in Biology from James Madison University in 2004; while doing research on the spatial sensory information used by the central nervous system to plan movement. After teaching high school chemistry for two years and working at INOVA Pediatric Geneticists clinic she went on to receive her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at James Madison University in 2008.

Prior to joining ROA, Tess had a vast array of experiences as an Advanced Practice Provider. She started off working in Fairfax, VA in a private practice dermatology clinic evaluating and treating various types of skin cancers and skin conditions. As a Physician Assistant at the FBI Academy, Quantico Tess treated acute illness and injuries for FBI agents in training. This experience led up to seven years as a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Virginia Hospital Center; where she served as Lead Advanced Practice Provider. Additionally she spent one year in Sheffield, UK as a Physician Assistant working for the NHS in geriatric medicine and urgent care. She continues to volunteer at the Culmore Free Clinic running a dermatology clinic.

Tess sees adult and pediatric patients for follow-up in the radiation oncology clinic with various types of cancers including: head and neck, breast, gynecologic, prostate, skin, lung, spine, and brain.
