Sarah BhattSarah. J. Bhatt joined Radiation Oncology Associates in 2022. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2021 from George Mason University where she was recipient of the 2021 DNP Award for Scholarship and was awarded a High Impact Grant for her doctoral work developing multidisciplinary collaborative preventative care clinics for underserved individuals in Northern VA. She is passionate about reducing the cancer burden through prevention, early detection and through patient education which is why she served as co-chair of the Community Outreach and Education workgroup of the statewide Immunize VA Coalition, helping to pilot several of their initiatives during the height of the pandemic. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society of Nursing and holds a certificate in Radiation Therapy from the Oncology Nursing Society.

Sarah has a diverse healthcare background that spans over a decade and includes several years caring for oncology patients in infusion nursing. As a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she cares for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics and is devoted to guiding patients through their recovery and into survivorship.

When she is not seeing patients in the clinic, she enjoys road trips, watching old movies and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
