The Cancer Center is located across from the main hospital, at 3580 Joseph Siewick Drive, Fairfax VA 22033. We are located in the lower level (basement). Free parking is available to all of our patients and guests located on the side of the building. Reserved spaces for radiation oncology are available. Complementary valet parking is also available at the main hospital entrance.

The Radiation Oncology Department at Inova Fair Oaks will provide radiation treatments using the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator – the most technologically advanced radiation therapy machine available today. TrueBeam offers precise patient positioning and immobilization, rapid and accurate treatment delivery, and unparalleled versatility in treating any tumor type throughout the body.
Our Radiation Oncology physician team provides the widest range of experience and clinical depth, with an emphasis on an individualized yet evidence-based approach to excellent patient care. We work in a comprehensive, multidisciplinary fashion with medical and surgical oncologists, radiation therapists, oncology nurses, patient care navigators, genetic counselors, social workers and dieticians. Our “team approach” allows us to use all of the information and expertise available to provide optimal care.
The department is fully equipped to treat all tumor sites including breast, prostate, lung, colorectal, brain/spine, gastrointestinal, Head/Neck, and hematologic.

Expert Staff
- Medical Director: Board certified Radiation Oncologist with more than 15 years of experience in the treatment of cancer patients.
- Physicians: The largest and most experienced Radiation Oncology team in the metropolitan D.C. area.
- Full time Medical Physicist and Certified Medical Dosimetrist Registered Nurse: Oncology Certified Registered Nurse.
- Radiation Therapists: Certified Radiation Therapists to perform the daily radiation treatments and simulations.
- Support staff: MSW Social worker and Registered Dietitian on-site.
Office Hours
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The center has a 24 – hour emergency service after 5pm Monday through Friday and throughout the weekend. Call 703-776-3158 and ask for the radiation oncologist on call.
