The Radiation Oncology Center at Inova Loudoun Hospital offers a comprehensive cancer program accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our staff includes caring and trusted healthcare professionals who help patients and their families navigate every phase of their care- from treatment management, to helpful education and support programs.
When it comes to caring for our patients, our goal is to provide multidisciplinary care including treatment, education and emotional support. Our dedication to care for the patient and their family sets us apart from other cancer programs.
Our Center provides a warm and healing environment where the most advanced radiation treatments are complemented by holistic therapies covering everything from nutrition to emotional health.
TREATMENTS
Our sophisticated level of clinical treatment includes a state-of-the-art linear accelerator that can treat cancer conditions with unprecedented precision while reducing treatment times, improving outcomes and minimizing side effects. In addition, our Cancer Center provides education and support in a warm and healing environment.

- Phillips CT Simulator

- External beam radiotherapy
- Intensity-modulated radiotherapy
- Image-guided radiation therapy with cone beam CT
- Volumetric modulated Arc Therapy
- Prostate radioactive seed implant
Expert Staff
- Medical Director: Board certified radiation oncologist with more than 15 years of experience in the treatment of cancer patients.
- Physicians: All board certified or eligible in radiation oncology.
- Full time Medical Physicist and Certified Medical Dosimetrist
- Director: Certified Medical Dosimetrist and Registered Radiation Therapist with 18 years of experience in treatment and management.
- Registered Nurse: Oncology Certified Registered Nurse.
- Radiation Therapists: Registered Radiation Therapists to perform the daily radiation treatments and simulations.
- Support staff: MSW Social worker.
Convenient Location
The center is conveniently located adjacent to the Inova Loudoun Hospital, Lansdowne Campus. Ample patient parking in front of the building.

Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
The center has a 24 – hour emergency service after 5pm Monday through Friday and throughout the weekend. Call 703-776-3158 and ask for the radiation oncologist on call.
