Joshua Petit, MD
Dr. Petit joined the radiation oncology team in 2007. His areas of interest include treatment of brain cancers (including a special interest in radiosurgery), prostate cancer which expertise in brachytherapy, and pediatric oncology.
Dr. Petit attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated cum laude with a degree in biology. He received his medical degree summa cum laude from the University of Maryland where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Following an internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, he completed his residency in radiation oncology at Harvard Medical School, and concurrently trained in clinical investigation at the Harvard School of Public Health. He has experience in proton beam radiotherapy, CyberKnife®, GammaKnife® and several methods for stereotactic radiosurgery, including frameless techniques. He has published on the treatment of acoustic neuromas, and brain and prostate cancers.
Dr. Petit is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
